  • Product Details
  • Our bamboo lyocell duvet sets are available in white, navy and grey – imbuing your bedroom with timeless tones and textures from landscapes of natural beauty at the top of the world.

We create our duvets from 100% organic bamboo lyocell, not viscose – a textile which is breathable, antibacterial and hypoallergenic, and certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – perfect for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

A dream to sleep in all year-round, it's light and cooling in summer, but keeps you warm and cosy in the colder seasons thanks to its temperature-regulating ability.

Woven with the finest yarn in a sateen finish, our bamboo lyocell bedding has a luxurious drape and sheen. Being exceptionally soft and silky, it allows your skin to glide along seamlessly making it incredibly gentle on both your skin and hair – and releases pet fur effortlessly, for those who share their bed with someone four-legged.

The duvet cover features engraved buttons, set quietly along the underside, and the inner corner ties keep the duvet in place.

    Includes:
1 x 100% organic bamboo lyocell duvet cover
    2 x 100% organic bamboo lyocell pillowcases
    1 x complimentary storage bag
1 x Embossed luxury gift box

Please note that colours may vary from the photos and differ between seasons.

  • Care
  • Wash our bamboo lyocell separately, in cold water, on a gentle cycle. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners and optical brighteners. Line dry, or tumble dry on low — take care not to over-dry, which damages the fibres.

To keep pilling to a minimum, follow the care instructions and avoid excess rubbing. If pilling does appear, lift it off carefully with a fabric shaver, or trim it with scissors.

Care for them as they care for you — the product care label has everything you need.

What’s the difference between bamboo viscose and bamboo lyocell?

It is the most useful thing to understand when comparing bamboo bedding. Viscose, which most bamboo sheets are made from, dissolves bamboo pulp in harsh solvents that are then discharged as waste, weakening the fibre along the way.

Lyocell uses a closed-loop process in which the solvent is captured and reused. The fibre is longer, stronger and smoother — it resists pilling far better, and holds its softness for years rather than months. All of our bedding is 100% organic bamboo lyocell.

Will these fit my deep mattress?

Our fitted sheets have 40cm deep pockets as standard, and our Super King fitted sheet goes to 50cm — which accommodates most Australian mattresses, including pillow-top and deeper foam.

If your mattress is deeper than 50cm, or you have added a thick topper, email us at hello@whom.com.au before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.

Do bamboo sheets help with night sweats?

They are one of the most effective things you can change, yes. Bamboo lyocell is unusually breathable, and it wicks moisture away from the skin rather than holding it against you the way cotton does.

The result is a more even temperature through the night. For anyone moving through perimenopause or menopause, or simply sleeping warm through an Australian summer, it is a gentler night.

Do bamboo sheets pill?

Bamboo viscose is weakened by chemical processing and tends to pill sooner. Our lyocell is spun in a closed-loop process that leaves the fibre longer and stronger, and is independently tested by SGS with the highest possible rating for resistance to pilling. Wash cold, keep it out of the dryer, wash separately, and when pills do appear a fabric shaver lifts them away in a minute.

Slight pilling is normal for natural fibres, especially in response to friction, and isn’t a fault or defect.

Are bamboo sheets good for allergies and sensitive skin?

Naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, our bedding is a gentle choice for sensitive skin and for anyone who wakes with allergies. The smooth, closed surface of lyocell gives dust and allergens far less to cling to than a napped or brushed fabric.

Every thread is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and we never treat our fabric with chemical softeners or optical brighteners. If you have a specific skin condition, we would always suggest checking with your doctor first.

Are bamboo sheets good for pet owners?

One of the best fabrics you can put on a bed a dog or a cat sleeps on. The fibres are round and smooth, the weave is tight with no brushed nap for hair to work into, and it holds very little static — so most fur slides straight off and a lint roller takes the rest. How much lifts in one go depends on the coat: a fine undercoat mid-shed will still want a wash.

How do I wash bamboo sheets?

Wash separately — not mixed with other fabrics or dark linen — in cold water on a gentle cycle, using a mild detergent such as a wool wash. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners and optical brighteners entirely.

Line dry in the shade wherever you can. Heat is the single biggest cause of bamboo bedding losing its softness — a hot wash or a hot dryer will do more harm than years of use.

What is your returns policy?

We offer returns within 30 days of receipt. To be eligible, the item must be unused and unwashed, in its original packaging with tags attached, and in resalable condition. Return shipping on change of mind is at your own expense.

If you are unsure about sizing, please ask before you order — email hello@whom.com.au and we will tell you honestly what will fit. Faulty or incorrect items are always covered in full.
